Cubs’ Broadcaster Pat Hughes produces new tribute to
Harry Caray

Glenview, IL, October 10, 2006
-- Chicago Cubs radio broadcaster Pat Hughes has written and produced a
new CD about Harry Caray. The tribute, titled “Harry Caray, Voice of
the Fans,” includes highlights from some of the legendary Caray’s most
memorable broadcasts along with narration by Hughes about the Hall of
Fame broadcaster’s amazing career. Hughes recently appeared at Harry
Caray’s Restaurant in Chicago to sign copies of the CD and to greet
fans.
Hughes also has produced and narrated
a CD commemorating the late Hall of Fame announcer Jack Buck. For
years, Jack Buck was the voice of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Hughes,
“The Voice of the Cubs” on WGN-AM 720, is famous for his colorful
play-by-play and his ability to personally connect with an audience. He
