Glenview, IL, October 3, 2011 -- Aurubis Group, one of the world¹s leading integrated copper producers and processors, turned to NM Marketing Communications (NMMC) recently when they needed help developing an exhibit on short notice. Aurubis, which is headquartered in Germany, recently acquired Luvata and is eager to expand their presence in the North American market.
The Chicago area sales office called NMMC to assist with that initiative by producing two 8x10 foot exhibits. The exhibits (Booth #5616) will be used at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), being held in Las Vegas from Nov. 1-3, 2011, Las Vegas.
NMMC created the messaging, graphic design and overall look for the exhibit to make it appealing to a variety of automotive suppliers that use copper in their products. Copper is an important component in automobiles, representing 6-9 percent by weight of a typical car. The average car contains about 45 pounds of copper in everything from wiring harnesses, windings of the alternator, and other electrical components to the heads, cores, and crimped fins of radiators.
As electrical components become more important in automotive development, Aurubis expects cooper use in vehicles to increase. AAPEX is a great opportunity for the company to reach many of manufacturers in the $395 billion global motor vehicle aftermarket. More than 115,000 professionals from around the globe participate in Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas, Nevada.
NMMC is looking forward to working with Aurubis on future marketing and promotional activities following the AAPEX Show.
