NM Marketing Communications Develops Branding Strategies
For Skokie, Illinois Foundation


Glenview, Illinois, August 9, 2010 -- NM Marketing Communications (NMMC) recently completed various branding and organizational identity initiatives for the North Suburban Business Development Foundation (NSBDF) of Skokie, Illinois.

The Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization designed to provide Skokie and other north suburban communities with tangible opportunities for business and economic development. NSBDF functions as an offshoot of the Skokie Chamber of Commerce. NMMC's managing director Norwin A. Merens serves as a director on the Foundation's Board of Directors.

"We're delighted that NM Marketing Communications is taking an active role in furthering NSBDF's mission in our suburban communities. The branding initiative (by NMMC) that led to the evolution of the Foundation's overall identity and the development of an organizational brochure were graciously donated by Norwin Merens," acknowledged Howard Meyer, executive director, Skokie Chamber of Commerce and NSBDF's secretary. He added that such good will activities during recessionary business times mean a lot to nonprofits like the Foundation.

The Glenview, IL-based marketing/public relations firm has also assisted the NSBDF with the production of a career fair held at the Skokie Public Library and is providing marketing and PR support for a community grassroots campaign to save the renown Skokie Theatre which has gone into receivership.
