North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) Chooses NM Marketing Communications, Inc., 07/28/04
Chicago B2B PR Agency to Oversee NADCA's Public Relations & Media Relations Campaign

28, 2004 - The Chicago area-based North American Die
Casting Association (NADCA) has selected NM Marketing Communications, Inc. to
manage its public and media relations campaign. The program is part of an
ongoing industry effort to raise the visibility of North American die
casters, reposition the industry to promote its strengths, and assist die
casters in their communications with customers and business prospects.
The PR initiative
for NADCA (DieCasting.org) will use a variety of media outlets, direct marketing and
speaking opportunities to heighten awareness of cast products and how the
jobs provided by die casters benefit the North American economy.
"Industry designers and purchasing agents need to know that North America
die casters adhere to internationally recognized standards and use advanced
technology and processes that result in engineered products of the highest
quality in the world. By promoting this message, NADCA will help the die
casting industry overcome challenges including competition from offshore
sourcing, which often appears less expensive because of lower labor costs
and fewer regulations," said NADCA President Daniel L. Twarog.
NADCA is the worldwide leader in stimulating growth and improvement in the
die casting industry. The organization serves as the voice for the industry,
promoting growth and enhancing its members' ability to compete domestically
and in the global marketplace. Members benefit from the educational program;

North American die casting industry," added Twarog. Earlier in his career,
Merens spent eight years as communications director for the Society of Die
Casting Engineers, which later merged with the American Die Casting
Institute to form NADCA. He also served as chairman of NADCA Chicago Chapter
5 from 1996-98.
